create your individual Superyacht
Our Y9 is unique and so is every single Y9. Above all, she is as individual as our customers themselves, because her layout and equipment are completely variable. Complementing this, the Y9 offers the volume of a 100-foot yacht in 90 feet. And she is available in three exciting versions – Y9, Y9 Pilot House, Y9 Custom.
The main focus for Y9 owners is spending time with family and friends on board. As a result, the 90-foot carbon sailing yacht is easy to sail even with a small crew. Her interior design fulfills and even extends all owners' wishes for a family yacht with sufficient privacy while they travel the world. Of course, the Y9 can also prove her potential on regatta courses in the Mediterranean or the Caribbean and sail right at the front of the field. She will be a formidable opponent in any regatta.
Like all YYachts, the Y9 follows a clear design philosophy - reducing all unnecessary superstructure and components to create a clean and minimalist deck: Keep it simple. Look good and sail nicely.
The Y9
BRINGS IMMEASURABLE JOY TO ITS OWNER
The luxury of being able to set out to sea self-sufficiently and with confidence is priceless. Even more enjoyable, is a comfortable, high performance and seaworthy yacht that sails fast and looks cool. Our Y9 delivers that in a way no other yacht can.

Stylish lines and details
Speed, large interior spaces and a cutting-edge look characterize our Y9
Our brand new Y9 is the logical continuation of our models Y7 and Y8. The development of the Y9 was driven by requests from customers for an easy to sail and fast yacht that requires a small crew and has a fantastic volume.

Performance
Already during her first test runs, the Y9 reached a speed of 26 knots. The total sail area is over 1000 square meters.
Stern view
The cockpit of the Y9 is extremely spacious, even larger groups have room. The distance to the helm stations is nevertheless short.
Lines
The exterior design was developed for YYachts by world-renowned US designer Bill Tripp. Sleek, elegant lines characterize the look.
Detail
Including its bowsprit, the Y9 is almost 30 meters long. This puts it squarely in the superyacht segment.
Potential
The Y9 has an interesting rating and is well suited to win trophies at maxi regattas.
Sailing fun
YYachts builds as light and safe as possible. This guarantees sailing fun even when other yachts are still motoring.
At anchor
The Y9 doesn't just cut a fine figure under sail. At anchor, its enormous deck area is once again made clear.
Cockpit
A hardtop permanently shades the cockpit of the first Y9. Solar cells are installed on the roof to provide energy for hotel operations.
Lightweight construction
Thanks to its carbon construction and the use of lightweight materials, the Y9 already sets sail in light winds.
Sustainability
The windows are well dimensioned. They let plenty of light into the interior, but keep the heat out. This minimizes the use of air conditioning.
Sail area
The Y9's gennaker alone measures 617 square meters. Of course, every Y9 owner can choose the make of the sail wardrobe himself.
Rig
The mast and boom of the Y9 are also made of carbon. They are manufactured by a highly specialized supplier.
Y9 excellence
Y9 is the Flagship of YYachts range with a remarkable Design of Bill Tripp Naval Architecture. The Hull, structure, Deck and rigs are entirely in carbon fiber to reduce unnecessary weight.
Y9 pilot house makes the difference
At the anchor Y9 Pilot House cuts a very good figure and attracts attention in every bay. The deckhouse fits wonderfully into the lines developed by US designer Bill Tripp.
Y9 unique colors
The Y9 is truly unique, just like our customers. That's why there are no limits when it comes to design. The yard's sophisticated craftsmanship realizes the customer's wishes.
Y9 pilot house for more panoramic views
Above its clean, uncluttered deck, the Y9 Pilot House features a carbon rig. A circumferential railing provides the necessary sense of security.
Y9 more freedom on the water
The lounge-like bathing platform offers even more peace and freedom. Enjoy peace and quiet in a private atmosphere while being close to the water.
Y9 pilot house, fast on the water
Under sail, the Y9 Pilot House offers very good performance, like any YYacht, due to its lightweight construction. The well thought-out concept allows the Y9 to be sailed with a very small crew.
Y9 Individuality and privacy
With its length of 90 feet, the Y9 offers the highest degree of individuality and privacy, when sailing or at anchor, with family and friends.
Y9 Comfort, Performance and Design
Outstanding space in the cockpit area to be used both with guests and in regattas due to the incredible easy handling and performances of Y9.
Y9 casual and performance sailing
Amazing Beach club in the stern of Y9 emphasizes the dimensions and the outdoor summer living. This space can be equipped with watersport equipment and tenders for guaranteed fun.
Y9 German excellence
Panoramic rendering view of YYachts flagship, featured by extraordinary comfort onboard, total flush deck, innovative coachroof and carbon rolling boom for the Mainsail.

Customized to your taste
The interior of the Y9 can be customized according to the individual taste of every customer. Make the Y9 yours only and get inspired by the interior design proposal of the award-winning studio Norm Architects from Copenhagen. Our inhouse design team will coordinate any other wishes you might have in terms of styling, layout and decoration. With the Y9 you are buying a real superyacht.

Master suite
The owner sleeps on the first Y9 in the bow of the yacht. Wardrobes flank the bed on both sides. They are upholstered in suede.
Detail
Numerous handrails ensure a good feeling of safety on board. Their look is unobtrusive.
Salon
The lounge of the Y9 is located on the port side. A bar and a large TV screen complement the ensemble of high-quality armchairs and sofa.
Salon
Opposite the TV lounge is the Y9's dining table for eight guests. The Scandinavian design chairs are fixed with leather clips in case of swell.
Guest cabin
Few shades of color give the Y9 a serene character. The interior is meant to serve as a retreat, according to Norm Architects.
Salon
View from the salon towards the master cabin. The office is separated with steps and room divider.
Office
The office, equipped with a veritable writing table and a sofa, keeps the contact with the business world - if desired.

Salon
The superstructure's windows and vertical hull windows let plenty of light into the salon. There is storage space behind the flaps of the panels.
Master Suite
Access to the owner's cabin is through a dressing room, which has enough volume for long voyages.
Owner's bathroom
Hidden behind two sliding doors are the Y9's washrooms. The shower features a rain shower head.
Owner's bathroom
The spaciousness of the bathroom is emphasized by the installation of a double washstand, which is rarely found on yachts.

The bed literally nestles into the structure of the Y9. Storage space has been integrated into the fixtures. A window provides daylight.

A light stone mixes with a dark wood look. Matte fixtures accentuate the sophisticated look.

Adjacent to the master suite on the first Y9 is a guest cabin. It opens onto the office.
Detail
Indirect light illuminates the steps of the companionway from the cockpit to the saloon. The Y9 combines safety and design.

Leather loops secure the chairs to the dining table. This prevents the loose furniture from shifting in rough seas.

For the Y9 dark anodized fittings in matt optics were chosen. However, there is a choice of any manufacturer.
Office
For business, the office area has a good degree of privacy. Alternative use: homeschooling.
Salon
The floor is covered with large oak panels, under which there is additional storage space. The table is handmade.

Y9 pilot house
The master suite in the bow of the yacht is an ideal retreat for the owner couple, who also have access to a sofa, dressing table and spacious bathroom.

The entrance to the master suite is a dressing room with ample storage for him and her. Andrew Winch's decor proposal for the suite combines light brown and white panels and coverings with nautical dark blue fabrics.
Y9 pilot house
The salon of the Y9 Pilot House has two levels. The upper one is for dining with a great view on the sea, the lower one is designed as a lounge area with sophisticated furniture.

Y9 Sailing Yacht - Space for your ideas
THE Y9 PILOT HOUSE
GRACIOUS SPACE FOR FAMILYAND FRIENDS
The Y9 Pilot House is the second version of the Y9 category and features a striking deckhouse that offers a very bright salon and phenomenal views at the sea. The layout of the Y9 Pilot House is optimized for families and friends to enjoy extensive cruising. Andrew Winch and his experienced team designed a sophisticated atmosphere below deck.

scaled to human dimensions
The Y9 is perfectly scaled to human dimensions and activities by eliminating exaggerated exterior and interior lines and proportions, as well as ineffectual spaces that are difficult to manage and maintain. Ensuring the owner remains connected to the sea and onboard guest with minimal distractions.

Perfect view to the sea
Several guest and crew cabin options are available for the Y9 Pilot House. The distinctive coach roof floods the salon with abundant daylight, which also boasts 360° views of the sea. This coach roof design is not only an aesthetic element, but also helps to reduce overheating below deck by deflecting the rays of the warming sun and minimizing the energy required to keep the interior cool in hot climates. This is just one of the aspects defining the Y9 as a sustainable yacht.
