The key principles guiding the design of the Y75 sailboat are design simplicity, comfort and fun. The team decided that each yacht sold in the area of Balearic Islands, South of France and Mediterranean Italy would come with a boat captain to ensure that the yacht is always available and ready to set sail whenever the owner desires.
The idea of having a dedicated captain for each yacht makes the Y75 sailboat concept even more appealing. It offers an unparalleled level of fun and excitement compared to traditional powerboats. Additionally, the creators are considering introducing a sharing concept in the region, allowing 2 or 3 friends from the same area to jointly own the yacht. The presence of a responsible captain would make the shared ownership experience smooth and enjoyable for all parties involved.
ICONIC DESIGN
Developed in collaboration between YYachts, Cossutti Yacht Design, and Gabriel Chipperfield's studio Wendover, the YBREEZE 75 is the world's first sailing yacht with a folding bulwark, creating a spacious beach club during anchoring. It enriches your sailing adventure with moments of relaxation and joy like never before. The side on it stands out with its sleek lines with no pulpits or stanchions. As on a much larger yachts, guests can walk comfortably around the entire deck.

This yacht is equipped for competitive racing with a small crew of 6 or 7, thanks to its race handicap, lightweight carbon-fibre hull, powerful sail plan, and dynamic water ballast system.
With a high aspect ratio torpedo keel and twin rudders, the YBREEZE 75 surpasses the speed of conventional 80-foot yachts. Despite its impressive performance, the yacht maintains a displacement of 25.8 tons and 190 square meters of sail area, making it sail effortlessly even in the lightest Mediterranean breeze.
SAILING SIMPLICITY
Sailing the Y75 BREEZE is effortless with its large cockpit, where all halyards, sheets, and trimming lines are concealed and lead aft. The high bulwark ensures safe and dry sailing, even in choppy conditions, eliminating the need for pulpit or stanchions.
Experience the convenience of electric push buttons that control the jib, self-tacking jib, mainsail, and automated furling for the code0 and gennaker. The yacht also features an electric furling mainsail in the boom, and you can control hatches and the companionway remotely with your smartphone. Sail with ease and sophistication on the Y75 BREEZE.
OCEAN FRIENDLY
To reduce the Y75 BREEZE’s carbon footprint as much as possible, we have invested in redesigning our Griefswald yard in Germany, making all processes as sustainable as possible. For instance, inside the boat only offcut veneer sourced from exclusive furniture producers is used and interior bulkheads are made of sustainable epoxy composites. To reduce emissions further, owners can choose between a “zero emissions” electric saildrive or a 100hp diesel saildrive that runs on synthetic fuel.

At YBREEZE, we offer a unique concept that allows you to share the yacht with friends and family in some of the most stunning locations – Palma, Ibiza, France, and Italy. If you decide to share the yacht with two friends, we will provide a professional crew as part of the package, making it as convenient as chartering a motor yacht.
