YYachts has always been trying to combine aesthetic design and Technology together with practical onboard functionalities…
Starting with the basics, the distinguishing feature of our yard is the Coach roof essential to guarantee a remarkable quantity of light in the saloon with a 360° view to the sea, but it is not only an aesthetic element but also a functional one, indeed it avoids overheating below deck.
In the summer days, the sun rays will never get directly inside the saloon, compared to the traditional angled windows.
This feature ensures high energy efficiency, so the boat requires less energy to be cooled down in hot climates.
The onboard energy supply is well calculated and the use of large battery banks in combination with large solar panels and a hydro generation system allows the yacht to be used without a generator nearly all day and night.
The extra-large on deck tender garage can accommodate a much above-average size dinghy bathing platform can be transformed into a beach club and has already foreseen storage spaces for water toys and diving equipment.

YYachts the latest success stories of its founder Michael Schmidt. Schmidt, himself is a passionate regatta sailor and boat builder, he was privately looking for a yacht. Since he was unable to find what he was looking for either in new yachts or on the brokerage market, he decided to build his Ideal Yacht himself.
This idea gave birth to the Brenta 80 from Brenta Design "Cool Breeze" in 2016, and to YYachts Brand. All YYachts’ models are created exclusively from carbon composite in Ladebow/Greifwald on the Baltic Sea, Carbon composite used for both the hull, over-structures sail and rigs. In a modern, newly built production facility, today YYachts manufactures sailing yachts up to 35 meters in length. Its own automated paint facility enables it to perfectly paint Superyachts in almost any color, or anneal yachts made of prepreg at up to 90 degrees Celsius.
The YYachts portfolio currently consists of the Y7, Y8, and Y9 models, while the Custom Division is specialized in completely individual designs and shapes. All the yachts are featured by Michael Schmidt's motto: "Fun sailing comes from a simple boat that is reduced to the bare essentials without sacrificing comfort."
