This unforgettable sailing event brought together Maxi Yachts\u00a0and their experienced crews, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Venice.<\/p>\n<p>The regatta was\u00a0excellently organized by the Yacht Club Venezia, providing a seamless and professional experience for all participants \u2013 both on the water and throughout the land-based program.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Schmid described it as\u00a0<em>\u201cone of the most spectacular experiences of my life.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0The race presented unique challenges \u2014 from the narrow canals and shifting tides to moments of\u00a0very light wind at the start. In addition, all yachts had to navigate through\u00a0heavy local boat traffic, adding yet another exciting dimension to the competition.
